Maintenance staff are spinning into action at Dreamland to undertake an inspection of the park's Big Wheel.

The 35-metre high ride is being dismantled at the Margate attraction and will undergo a number of tune ups over the winter period.

But don't worry, the star ride will be reinstalled next year.

The ride is a major landmark on the seaside town skyline and has been a popular attraction at the theme park.

The theme park is celebrating its busiest year yet since it reopened four years ago, and recently dropped a glowing line-up of acts for its Neon Nights events.
