A feature film is set to be shot in Kent later this year.
Thanet council announced the borough would be used to film an adaptation of True Things About Me.
The production will be based on the book by Deboray Kay Davies and star Ruth Wilson.
Wilson is known for performance as Alice Morgan in the BBC crime drama, Luther.
The film will be produced by Jude Law and directed by Harry Wootliff with cameras going live from mid-March for five weeks.
A council spokesman said: "Hopefully this exciting news will help stave off the January blues."
It has not been revealed where in Thanet they will be filming.
