Margate: Fire crews free man from road crash in Manston Road

A man is in hospital after a crash between a lorry and a car this afternoon.
The air ambulance, police and ambulance road crews attended the scene in Manston Road, Margate, at 1.30pm.
Fire crews used heavy rescue equipment to release a man from a car.
Police spokesman Martin Very said: "One man is reported to be injured but the severity is unclear at the moment.
"The road is closed at the junction with Flete Road and the junction with the B2050.
The man was taken from the incident in an ambulance and Kent Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at 2.20pm.
