The fire service is still investigating the cause of a huge blaze that ripped through a business more than a week ago.
Crews spent 31 hours tirelessly tackling the flames and billowing smoke at K Laundry Ltd in Northwood Road, Ramsgate.
At the height of the inferno, there were 12 fire engines at the scene of the blaze, which started shortly after 4am on July 23.
Operations were scaled back and crews finally left the scene shortly after 11am the following day.
And the fire service is still probing the blaze which destroyed the business founded more than 100 years ago.
“We have been investigating the cause of the fire but it is currently indeterminate,” a spokesperson said.
“There are still a few other avenues being investigated but it is not clear when these will be completed.
“There is nothing to suggest the cause of the fire was suspicious at this time.”
People as far away as Deal reported seeing black smoke billowing from the industrial building.
Residents in the area were advised to keep their windows and doors closed.
Northwood Road was closed while fire crews tackled the blaze.
K Laundry Ltd, a commercial laundry and linen hire specialist, was established in 1928.
