Kent Fire and Rescue were called to a home in Ramsgate after a garage was seen ablaze.
The property in Thorn Gardens was next to the unit that was on fire.
Firefighters used a hose reel and COBRA, which sprays a super fine mist to suppress flames and bring down the temperature, to tackle the flames.
They then remained at the property to damp it down.
