With free parking for members, the gym will be open 24/7 and air conditioned throughout.

The company's largest site to date, it will also house a soft play area and a cafe which non-members can make use of too.

Owner Dean Smith says he believes the new facility will be a step in the right direction in the town's regeneration.

"We are excited to be part of the regeneration process in Margate," he said.

"We believe this facility will have a massive impact on the local area and its residents."

With hopes of opening in about two months time, work is soon to begin.

Mr Smith added: "The works on the site start within the next few weeks and it will be an amazing 10,000 square foot facility.

"We will also have a huge free weights section with dumbbells, benches and barbells etc and a large stretch section with all that you will need.

"We will have a large studio for our classes, changing rooms and showers.

"At Infinity Fitness-UK, we are dedicated to providing top gym facilities and at a very appealing, discounted price.

"We pride ourselves in both our contract and non contract options and we look forward to welcoming the residents of Margate to our exciting club.
"As a limited pre-opening offer we have the following prices available if you join online before we open. No money is taken before we open, however."
