Margate and Ramsgate: Four held on suspicion of drugs offences

Four people, including a 15-year-old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Thanet.

Police raided two properties in Margate's Addington Street and Love Lane this morning as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs.

A 28-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug, a 36-year-old Margate man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine, and a 15-year-old boy, also from Margate, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine, and also possession of cannabis.

A 19-year-old man from Ramsgate was also arrested yesterday on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after police stopped a vehicle in Grosvenor Hill.

All four remain in custody while inquiries continue.
