GEEK festival heads to Margate's Dreamland

The GEEK gaming festival has unlocked a new move.
Dreamland will host the three-day festival as it changes venue from its previous home in Margate's Winter Gardens.
The focus this year will be on interactive games with set-ups in the Hall By The Sea, Roller Room, Ballroom and arcade area.
The festival will mark the 25th anniversary of Nintendo's Mario Kart game and to celebrate there will be a chance for gamers to take part in an official tournament.
Other activities will be board games, computer games, card games all with a focus on retro and next-generation games.
On Friday, February 17 doors will open to the world of apps with everyone welcome, whether they want to make one themselves or learn how to use them.
The following day the Demystify Bar will showcase a Games Workshop's Warhammer which has been entertaining gamers for more than 30 years.
And on the Sunday, PC games will people invited to come along if they have an interest in processing or browsing the internet.
Visitors are encouraged to come in costume as their favourite character.
Different competitions will be held along with workshops on storytelling and making your own board game.
