A large block of Grade II-listed flats has been snapped up at auction for £850,000 after "lots of interest from investors".
The five-storey building in Hawley Square, Margate, has period features and dates back to the early 19th century.
The period property, which contains eight apartments, is listed along with most of the houses on the street thanks features such as its bay windows and decorated keystone.
Jon Rimmer, Clive Emson auction appraiser, said: "There was a lot of interest shown by investors and the sale showed how buoyant the market is.
"This is a large end-terrace block close to the town centre, seafront and railway station.
"All but one of the flats are currently rented and the property is well maintained with clean and tidy communal areas."
At the same auction, three other Margate properties were bought, including a small patch of land behind Northdown Road with permission to build a house.
A modern two-bedroom house in St Peter's Footpath also sold, for £273,000.
Also under the hammer was a three bedroom, mid-terrace house in St Francis Close, which went for £181,000.
