Drummers in Ramsgate raised the roof and plenty of cash at a sponsored drum bash in the town.
Members of the Thanet Marching Militaire took part in the all-day 'drumathon,’ raising hundreds of pounds towards new equipment.
Local people aged between eight and 60-years-old take part in the group’s free weekly training sessions, held every Saturday at the Ramsgate Small Boat Owners Association hall at Guildford Lawn.
The group also has also a military corps, which meets every Sunday and performs at various events in the county, including a forthcoming reenactment during the Military Odyssey at the Kent Showground in August.
