Police helicopter searches Manston for Ramsgate man after concerns raised

A police helicopter joined the search for a man after concerns were raised for his welfare.
The aircraft joined officers on the ground at 11.30pm after receiving a report the man was in trouble in Ramsgate last night.
The man, was located at a caravan park in Manston, following a search in the area.
He was found the Manston Court Holiday Park by police and taken to hospital.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 11.30pm on Tuesday, April 16 to a report of concern for the welfare of a man in Ramsgate.
"Officers along with the assistance of the police helicopter located the man at a caravan park in Manston Court Road who was then taken to a local hospital."
A spokesman for the ambulance service says paramedics were stood down with the man taken to hospital without the need for their assistance.
