Police have raided a 600-plant cannabis farm growing inside a home in a small village.
Neighbourhood officers were sent to Tothill Street in Minster, near Ramsgate, on Tuesday after suspicious activity was reported.
They discovered hundreds of plants growing in the home, as well as multiple black sacks of the illegal crop.
Officers dismantled the growing equipment and seized the drugs.
Aleksjo Lazaj, 22, has since been arrested and charged with being concerned with the production of cannabis.
He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court later the same day and was remanded in custody.
The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday December 16.
