Cannabis farm found in home in Albion Road, Ramsgate

More than 700 cannabis plants were discovered by police when they responded to a report of a burglary.

Officers were called to a home in Albion Road, Ramsgate, at 10.50pm yesterday but upon entering found drugs being grown.

Wiring had been damaged and six rooms had been converted into cultivation areas for cannabis plants.

Police seized an estimated 760 plants and dismantled the cultivation equipment.

No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
