The father of tragic Margate twins Jake and Chloe Ford says he wants the world to 'see my beautiful babies forever.'
Grieving Steven Ford shared the heartbreaking message on Twitter tonight, the day after his wife Samantha appeared in court charged with murdering the twins.
Mr Ford, from Ashford, said: "I want the world to see my beautiful babies. Jake and Chloe forever xxx."
He later tweeted to thank people for their support and said every message was helping him.
It read: "I keep reading the all of the kind words of support from everyone. People don't even know me but they care. Every message helps, even if it's just for a moment."
It is his second message since his children's tragic deaths.
Yesterday he tweeted:"Daddy's twins xxx my beautiful babies. I love you"
Mrs Ford, 37, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday after 23-month-old twins Jake and Chloe were discovered at their home in Castle Drive near Margate in the early hours.
They were both taken to hospital, where they were declared dead by doctors.
Just 45 minutes before, a car was involved in a crash with a lorry on the A299 Thanet Way between Herne Bay and Whitstable.
Police attended the scene of the crash, in which Samantha Ford is said to have suffered a minor head injury.
She spoke only to confirm her name and age at a brief hearing at Canterbury Magistrates' Court on Saturday, having been charged with two counts of murder.
Wearing a grey jumper and glasses, she held her left hand to her face throughout the hearing.
She has been remanded in custody until appearing via video link at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday.
