A group of youngsters have been caught on camera attempting to steal a motorbike from outside a house.
The three were spotted on doorbell footage in Marlborough Road, Margate, in the early hours of Wednesday.
Sophie Bradford captured them attempting to get away with her partner's Yamaha YZF600 Thunder Cat bike at about 2.45am.
She told KentOnline: "The bike had a flat rear tyre that one of them has damaged, so I think that's why they didn't get any further with it."
Others came forward on facebook to say that they too had been targeted.
"This seems to have happened several times that night - maybe by an organised group, as two more were stolen the same night in the same area," Ms Bradford said.
In a Facebook post warning others living in and around Marlborough Road, she wrote: "Why they are this young and out at around 2,40am I have no idea.
"If anyone knows these delightful young children and would like to send their parents my way to discuss it would be appreciated."
A police spokesperson said: "We received a report of an attempted theft of a motorcycle in Marlborough Road, Margate.
"It is reported the incident took place at around 2.45am on Wednesday, December 21.
"The motorcycle was damaged during the attempt theft.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
Police said they have not recieved further reports of other thefts in the area.
