Large number of cannabis plants and equipment seized in police raid at house in Sarre, Birchington

A large number of cannabis plants and equipment have been seized after police raided a property.
A video shows officers attending the home in Sarre, near Birchington, and shows mounds of silver insulation tubing and UV lights which are commonly used to grow the drug.
Witnesses reported seeing police at the scene at about 6.30pm yesterday.
Officers are still trying to trace the culprits who were using the site.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers carried out a warrant at an address in Sarre following suspicions the property was being used to cultivate cannabis.
“A large number of cannabis plants have been seized and enquiries are ongoing to trace those behind the site.”
