Tributes have been paid to a much-loved and well-known Ramsgate father who has died in a crash on the M25.
Lee Harrington, 39, was in a van that overturned on a slip road leading to the motorway for the A21 at Chevening.
He was pronounced dead at the scene - the east-bound slip road - at about 3.30pm on Thursday.
Mr Harrington's Facebook page has been inundated with tributes and messages from scores of friends.
Broadstairs journalist Chris Smee was a close family friend.
He wrote: "Lee was one of the kindest and loveliest guys I ever knew. We are devastated.
"We were very close and he was a great mate."
A white commercial Renault vehicle driven by Mr Harrington flipped in the crash. No one else was injured.
The road was closed for several hours while officers from the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to launch an investigation.
Anyone who saw the crash – or the vehicle just beforehand – are asked to phone PC Rob Malins on 01622 798538.
