Margate man charged after Christmas presents stolen from home during Kent Road burglary

A man has been charged after Christmas presents yet to be given were stolen from a home.
The alleged burglary happened in Kent Road, Margate, where items including alcohol and the contents of a fridge-freezer were reported missing.
Police received a report the home had been burgled between Saturday and Sunday.
Lewis Tedham, 22, was charged with one count of burglary and receiving stolen goods, including a blue disabled parking badge, between last Wednesday and Sunday.
The Laleham Road resident appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday and the case was adjourned to the same court on January 28.
