A man will appear in court accused of burglary and theft from a house in Thanet.
Simon Elliott, of Clements Road in Ramsgate, was arrested this week after detectives launched an investigation.
Police allege Elliott, 41, reportedly broke into a house in Cliftonville Avenue in the town and stole a woman's purse late at night from a bungalow.
The purse contained cash and cards, police said.
Elliott was arrested on Monday following the reported incident on February 16 at around 11.15pm.
A police spokesman said he has been released on bail and will appear before Margate Magistrates Court on April 5.
