Man charged with shoplifting from BP petrol station in Garlinge and Home Bargains store in Margate

A man has been charged with 16 counts of shoplifting, including 13 at one business.
Officers from the Thanet Neighbourhood Task Force arrested Dean Pemble, of no fixed address, yesterday (Tuesday, March 3).
The counts relate to 13 thefts from a BP petrol station store in Garlinge between last November 1 and March 14.
A combined total of £934 worth of items were reportedly stolen there, including meat, alcohol, ready meals, and confectionery.
Pemble was also charged with stealing protein powder worth £47 from a Home Bargains store in Enterprise Road, Margate, last November 17.
He was additionally accused of taking meat worth £46 from the Co-op supermarket in High Street, Broadstairs, on January 11 and a pair of trainers and socks worth £65 from TK Maxx in Broadstairs on February 25.
He was remanded to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday) .
