Man dies after three-vehicle crash in Northdown Road, Cliftonville

A man has died after he was taken to hospital following a serious crash.
Police shut part of Northdown Road in Cliftonville yesterday afternoon after the accident involving three cars.
Paramedics were also at the scene and an air ambulance landed nearby.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A man sustained injuries and was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. A report is being prepared for the coroner."
The crash happened between the junctions of Foreland Avenue and Holly Lane.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash at 2.45pm yesterday. The road reopened at about 6pm.
