Man dies in Grinsell Hill, Minster, after crash involving van and cyclist

A man has died after a crash involving a van and cyclist.
Police closed off The Lanes and Grinsell Hill in Minster yesterday, and an air ambulance landed in a nearby field.
A white Renault van was involved in a collision with a bicycle shortly before 7.30am yesterday.
Paramedics and police were called to Grinsell Hill, but sadly the cyclist - a man in his 50s - died at the scene.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is carrying out an investigation and officers are appealing to anyone who saw what happened, or has relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.

The Lanes merges into Grinsell Hill to the west of the village.
The air ambulance landed in a field next to the Wayside Caravan Park.
