Man stabbed as he walked along alleyway near Marine Gardens and Albert Terrace

A man was hospitalised after being stabbed as he walked along an alleyway during the early hours of the new year.
The victim, in his 20s, has told officers he was assaulted near to Marine Gardens and Albert Terrace shortly before 1.30am yesterday.
Police were called to a disturbance in the area near Kabuki in Marine Gardens, and witnesses reported an attack had taken place nearby.
A man, aged 27, and a 29-year-old woman were arrested.
The victim had already left the scene when police arrived.
He was found at a local hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.
The man arrested, from Margate, has been released on bail until Monday, January 21.
The woman, from Gillingham, has been released pending further investigation.
Police are appealing for further witnesses following the alleged serious assault.
