A man has been charged after a Boots store was raided.
Police were called to the pharmacy in Ramsgate High Street following reports of a break-in.
A glass door was damaged and fragrances were reported stolen from the store.
Officers carried out immediate enquiries in the area after they were called at about 11.30pm on Saturday, including a review of all available CCTV.
Their enquiries led to the arrest of Terrence Howard during the early hours yesterday.
The 49-year-old man, from St Peters Park Road in Broadstairs, appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at the same court on March 4.
