Patrick Moss charged with robberies in Canterbury and Ramsgate

A 24-year-old man is to appear in court charged with robberies in Ramsgate and Canterbury.

Patrick Moss, of Hereson Road in Ramsgate, was charged yesterday with a total of seven offences, including possession of a knife.

Three of the charges are for robberies, in which cash, cigarettes and alcohol are reported to have been stolen.

The first charge relates to a robbery of a convenience store in Wincheap Saturday evening, in which alcohol was reported stolen.

He was charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of possessing a knife, following an incident in Hereson Road, Ramsgate on December 12 last year, in which cash and cigarettes were allegedly taken.

Mr Moss was also charged with possession of cannabis and a public order offence relating to an incident in Ten Perch Road, Wincheap, on Saturday.

He was due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court via virtual link today.
