A man will be in court next month accused of a spate of distraction burglaries.
Alex Steine, from Ramsgate, appeared before magistrates this morning but will now face a judge at Canterbury Crown Court.
The 46-year-old is charged with three counts of burglary throughout Thanet.
He was charged yesterday with reported distraction burglaries in Broadstairs and Margate on Wednesday.
Police allege a man visited three homes asking residents for a jug of water with items stolen from two in Cinder Path, Broadstairs and Nash Court Road in Margate.
At a third address in Salmestone Road, Margate, a similar incident was reported but no items were stolen, police said.
Steine, of Southwood Road, Ramsgate, appeared via video link at Medway Magistrates' Court this morning.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on August 12.
