Ramsgate: Man rescued from cliff edge overlooking harbour

A man in his 30s was rescued from a cliff edge overlooking Ramsgate harbour.
Fire crews were called just after 9am and were joined by the coastguard and ambulance staff.
They found the man - who was carefully rescued from the ledge by a height vehicle cage and stretcher - on the cliff between Military Road and Paragon Promenade.
It is not known how he got there, but he was seen to by paramedics when safely on the ground.
Crews left the scene just before 11am.
