Man rescued from flat fire in Alma Place, Ramsgate

A man was rescued from his flat in the early hours of this morning after a fire started in the kitchen.
Crews were called to Alma Place, Ramsgate at 1.05am and treated the man, thought to be in his 50s, for smoke inhalation.
The small blaze started in the kitchen of the ground floor flat and caused heavy smoke logging.
Firefighters used a ventilation fan to clear smoke and fumes from the property.
