Man robbed and assaulted in Highfield Road, Ramsgate

A mobile phone was stolen during the assault of a man in his 20s in Ramsgate.
The victim was walking along Highfield Road at around 10.25pm on Wednesday night.
It is said a group of people walked up behind him and have carried out the assault.
He suffered cuts and bruises during the attack.
The incident was reported to Kent Police and detectives are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
