Man stabbed near Margate seafront during robbery

A man was stabbed during a robbery on a seafront.
Police and paramedics were called to Royal Crescent, Margate, during the early hours of this morning after the man was discovered with a knife wound.
He said he was attacked by a number of people who swiped cash and trainers from him at about 4.20am.
The man was taken to a London hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
Following a search of the area, a knife was found by police.
