Margate assault in Market Street sparks police appeal to find attacker

A man was left on the ground with a head wound after an attack in Margate.
The victim, who is in his 30s, needed hospital treatment due to the severity of the injury.
Police were called to the disturbance in Market Street at about 8.30pm on Saturday, August 6.
Several people were spoken to, but officers say there were hundreds of people in the area that evening.
They believe others may have seen something that could be helpful to the investigation.
Witnesses of the attack are urged to come forward.
