Armed police have seized a sword and arrested a man on suspicion of making threats to kill.

Officers were called to Millmead Road in Margate at about 2pm to the report of a man making threats with a weapon,

A 30-year-old from Margate been arrested on suspicion of affray, threats to kill and possession of an offensive weapon.

There were no reported injuries, a sword was seized by police and the man remains in custody whilst inquiries continue.
