Hundreds of people a day have been flocking to an exhibition tracing the history of mods and rockers in Margate.
In fact the display at Margate Museum -- organised by the Friends of Margate Museum -- has proved so popular, it has been extended until Saturday October 1.
Visitors to Talking Bout My Generation took a magical history tour back to the heady days of the 1960s.
It is a celebration of the town’s place in youth culture and social history, marking the infamous Whitsun bank holiday of 1964, when mods and rockers battled their way up and down the seafront and beach.
The exhibition looks at the culture, the clothes, the music and the transport from bikes and scooters to parkas and sharp suits.
