A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a crash with a car.

The collision happened today in Millmead Road in Dane Valley, Margate.

Police and paramedics were called the scene at 3.15pm today.

The road was closed for a short while but has since reopened.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “I can confirm that we were called shortly after 3:15pm today to reports of a RTC involving a vehicle and a motorbike in Millmead Road, Margate.

“Crews arrived on scene and assessed and treated one person before taking them to the QEQM hospital for further medical treatment.”
