Music for Manston is a fundraising show which the group Supporters of Manston Airport hopes will be a high-flying success.
It will be staged at Manston Court Caravan Park, in Manston Court Road, Manston, from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday, September 6.
The bands, who are giving their time freely, are Paul Messenger (Paul One Love), Brad Pittance and the Pirates, Beggars Belief, Nylon Tigers, Jennifer Maidman and friends.
As well as the music stage, there will be food and drink outlets including a hog roast and double-decker bus bar.
Children’s activities will include bouncy castle, face painting, and games, while stalls will include TG Aviation and community organisations.
Parking is free and organisers are negotiating overnight camping.
Tickets are £6 in advance (£15 for a family ticket two adults and up to three children), or £7 on the door (£18 family).
