A mural based on hit series Orange is the New Black has been vandalised days after it was unveiled - just as a street art tribute to a rail tragedy victim has been repainted.
The piece made by artist Hizze Fletcher had been created in Margate to mark the town's Pride event this weekend.
Phrases such as "I love white people" and "white lives matter" have been scribbled on the wall.
The installation, which is outside Dreamland, was unveiled just days ago.
Amy Redmond, director of Margate Pride, said: "We're going to cover this and let it go. They're just people yet to have their minds opened and through Pride we can do this.
"This is why we march. Love wins."
It comes as a street art tribute to a teenager who died in a tragic rail accident has been repainted.
The artwork in honour of Taiyah Peebles, who was killed on a railway line in Herne Bay, was whitewashed in error just months after it was created.
The striking street art has now been redone in memory of the 16-year-old who died at Herne Bay train station on her way home from celebrating a friend's birthday on July 25 last year.
