Westgate on Sea near Margate: Overturned Ford Transit van closes road

A busy dual carriageway has been closed after a white Ford Transit van overturned.
Police were called at 3.29pm to the A28 Canterbury Road in Westgate-On-Sea after the single-vehicle accident.
The driver of the van was treated at the scene by ambulance crews.
The road was closed while the van was recovered and motorists were asked to avoid the area.
The road reopened at 6pm.
