Police reopen Margate Road between Park Road and Whitehall Road after crash

The passenger of a moped has been airlifted to a London hospital after a moped and a tipper truck collided in Margate Road.
The moped rider has been taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and the driver of the truck escaped without injury.
Police were called to the crash at 2.15pm.
The road reopened at 4.20pm.
