Trains stopped between Faversham and Margate after person hit by train at Chestfield and Swalecliffe

A person has been hit by a train at Chestfield and Swalecliffe railway station.
Southeastern warned passengers trains are not running between Faversham and Margate.
Emergency services are at the scene.
Services on the high speed via Gravesend and Victoria to Ramsgate routes are being disrupted and may be altered at short notice.
British Transport Police have since confirmed that a man has died.
