A dog has died and two people have been injured after another canine reportedly became out of control.
A second dog was also harmed in the reported incident, which unfolded in Birds Avenue, Garlinge, near Margate, yesterday afternoon (June 6).
A police spokesman today said one dog has been seized while another received treatment at a vets.
“Kent Police was called at 1.25pm on Tuesday 6 June 2023 following a report that a dog was attacking other dogs in Birds Avenue, Garlinge, near Margate,” they said.
“Officers attended and the dog was seized.
“Two people were injured during the incident and a man was taken to a local hospital.
“Two dogs were also injured, with one sadly found deceased at the scene and another taken to a vets.”
Enquiries are currently ongoing.
