Birchington: Police appeal for information following crash on the A28

A man has been left with serious injuries after two motorcycles collided on the A28.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at the St Nicholas at Wade roundabout near Birchington at around 10.15am yesterday.
One man was flown to a London hospital with serious injuries. Another was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The two motorcycles were reported to be travelling towards Brooks End and were overtaking a blue Mercedes when the crash happened.
The serious collision investigation unit is asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken to officers to call 01622 798528 quoting KH/MS/60/17.
