Margate: Police called to accident near Victoria Traffic Lights

A 13-year-old boy has been hit by a car in Margate.
Police and paramedics were called to College Road at the junction with Beatrice Road at 4.05pm, following the accident.
The boy is reported to have sustained head injuries. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
The route was blocked in both directions, with queues back to the Westwood Roundabout and Victoria Traffic Lights.
It had re-opened by 5.20pm.
