A police car was left with its bumper hanging off, after a crash with another vehicle while responding to an emergency call.
Just before 8pm yesterday, the car collided with another road user in Cecil Square, Margate.
A picture taken after the smash shows the front driver's side has been badly damaged.
The road was closed while paramedics attended, but reopened at around 10:15pm.
A spokesman for the ambulance service added: “Ambulance crews attended the scene.
“One person was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further checks.”
