Police seek driver of blue Mercedes A160 who crashed into a taxi at the Crescent Road and Vale Square junction in Ramsgate

Police have launched an appeal to find a driver who fled the scene of a crash which left a taxi passenger injured in hospital.
A blue Mercedes A160 crashed with the taxi at the junction of Crescent Road and Vale Square in Ramsgate at 12.30am on Saturday, May 30.
Four other cars were also damaged in the incident, and ambulance crews arrived at 12.50am to check over the injured man.
He was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with a suspected back injury which was not thought to be serious.
But the driver of the Mercedes fled from the crash, and is now wanted by the police. If you witnessed the incident or have any information call the Serious Investigation Unit of 01622 798358.
