Police seek eyewitness after woman in Broadstairs dies after being hit by own car

Police have renewed their appeal for information after a woman died having been hit by her own car.
The victim, aged in her 80s, died after being hit by her blue Hyundai I30 in Percy Avenue, Broadstairs, on the afternoon of Friday, June 11.
Officers investigating the incident have today renewed their appeal for information - and say they are still keen to trace a man seen jogging along Percy Avenue that afternoon.
They have released a description of the man, who is described as having dark brown/grey hair. He was topless and was wearing long blue shorts at the time.
The jogger is believed to have spotted the tragedy and alerted neighbours, who called the emergency services.
Police, ambulance and fire crews rushed to the scene in Broadstairs at about 3.10pm on June 11, but the victim sadly died at the scene.
Her next of kin has been informed.
