Mystery surrounds the presence of police outside a pharmacy in Ramsgate.
The Newington Pharmacy in Newington Road has been at the centre of police activity since 9am.
Owner of IT Service Centre, who is two doors down from the pharmacy, Neil Hopkins said: “Lots of police have been taking everything out in bags all day.
“They have been here since 9am this morning when the pharmacy opened.
“There were a couple of cars already there and they have been coming past all day.
“The alarm didn’t go off and it didn’t look like a break in.
“Nobody knows what is happening at the moment.”
Police spokesman Amanda Wills said: "We can confirm officers were in Ramsgate earlier today carrying out warrants. The matter is ongoing and we hope to have an update in the morning."
