A serious incident on the railway line is causing delays this morning.
Emergency services arrived at the scene between Faversham and Margate shortly before 7am.
The power to the line was switched off but has since been restored and replacement bus services are running in the area.
Emergency services have left the area so trains have started to run again on both lines between Margate and Faversham, with services being delayed by about 15 minutes.
Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for more information.
