RNLI rescue mission after person falls from wall at Ramsgate Harbour

A man has been taken to hospital after falling over the edge of a pier.
Lifeboat crews were called out at just gone 4.30pm following the fall at Ramsgate Harbour.
They carried out the rescue and stretchered the casualty to safety.
He is now in the care of ambulance crews and is being taken to the William Harvery Hospital for further treatment.
The extent of the injuries from the fall are not known, and it isn't known how they fell over the edge.
An ambulance service spokesman confirmed they were at the scene and crews are now taking the patient to hospital.
