Margate: Sanger's Stage Show locked out of Tivoli Park and have bike worth £1,000 stolen

Sanger's Stage Show didn't receive the best of welcomes when finishing their 200 mile pilgrimage to be part of the Margate carnival.
The horse drawn stage show, led by David Sanger - descendent of 'Lord' George Sanger who ran Hall by the Sea which later became Dreamland - arrived on Tuesday but found they were locked out of where they were supposed to stay, Tivoli Park.
Instead, Dane Valley councillors Gary Hillman and Gary Taylor made arrangements for them to stay at Dane Park.
The Sangers have completed a pilgrimage across six weeks from Stonehenge to Margate, stopping at various events to perform on the way.
In a Facebook post, the councillors wrote: "Tuesday night in Dane Park we had "The Sangers (Ancestors of George Sanger Mr Dreamland) arrive all the way from near Stonehedge.
"They are staying here due to an locked location they were meant to be going in Margate.
"They are here for Margate's Carnival this Sunday and performing a free show in Dreamland.
"Can I stress they are not like the travellers we have had recently.
"Please be welcoming to them.
"The horses have walked 200 miles pulling the old fashion gypsie caravans along with other vehicles.
"Dog owners be mindful they do have dogs aswell."
But their woes didn't end there as the Sangers had a bike stolen from them that night.
The councillors have set up a crowdfunding page in an attempt to raise the money to replace the stolen bike.
Written on the page, it says: "The Sanger family - relatives to George Sanger who started Dreamland in Margate have brought their horses and carriages 200 miles to appear free at the Margate Carnival.
"Last night (01/08/2017 ) someone stole a bike belonging to a disable member of the show that cost £1000.
"Thanet people let's show our appreciation to this historic group. Thank you."
David was at the Dreamland opening in 2015 and cut the ribbon in celebration.
