A school will fully reopen again tomorrow after boiler issues forced it to close to some pupils.

Hartsdown Academy in Margate was shut after several classrooms around the school were left without heating today.

But the school in George V Avenue said this afternoon it will be open again as normal to all pupils after finding a "temporary" solution.

In a statement, the school said: "We are open as normal tomorrow, we have sourced temporary heating and the Academy will be warm in all areas."

The school was open to Sixth Form and Year 11 pupils on Monday but closed to all other pupils as temperatures plunged in Thanet over the weekend.

Senior managers said a site team had been to the school on Sunday to inspect.
